MP3jam is a music app that allows you to search, listen to and download music. It's an attractive and simple app, that uses
MP3jam is really easy to use. Simply search for the artist or title you want, and click play if it's found. You can download the tracks for later, and if you do nothing, MP3jam will continue to stream tracks from your search, so you don't have to press play again after every song. There are no social features, so you can't share with your friends, and currently there are no features for playlists.
There are lots of MP3 download apps, and using YouTube is not a new idea. The user agreement says you are responsible for what you listen to with MP3jam, regarding copyright. This would be easier to accept if MP3jam gave you any idea that any of the songs you listen to or download are copyrighted or not. In general, apps that scrape YouTube for music are at the least stretching acceptable use of YouTube, and at worst breaking their Terms of Service.
MP3jam gets the looks right, and it's nice and easy to use. However, it's lacking options and social features, and isn't anywhere near as good as streaming apps like
